Istanbul is ready for tonight

On the way into the European part of Instambul, the experience is amazing. After seeing country houses, small buildings, mosques and people hitch-hiking in the highway, as you are getting into Instambul, the cityline changes. Highrises start to appear, the University, then more highrises, modern buildings... And you start to wonder if you are in the same country or you have been teleported to one of the most modern cities. And, in fact, they say that the skyline of Instambul has changed so much in the past years that there are a few buildings amongst the best highrises in the world. See it to believe it.

De camino a la parte europea de Estambul, la experiencia es increíble. Tras pasarnos todo el camino desde bursa viendo casad e campo, edificios bajos, mezquitas, árboles y gente haciendo autostop en la autopista, a medida que te vas adentrando a la ciudad, el paisaje cambia radicalmente. Empiezan a aparecer los rascacielos, la Universidad, luego más rascacielos, edificios modernos... Y te empiezas a preguntar si estás en el mismo país o si te has teletransportado a una de las ciudades más modernas. Y, de hecho, dicen que el perfil de la ciudad de Estambul ha cambiado tanto en los últimos años, que algunos de los edificios se encuentran entro los mejores rascacielos del mundo. Ver para creer.
